Grace Gaskins - Rancho Valley 14-1's, Hoover Sanchez and Babs Smith, Club West 14-Gold, Hannah Thomas and Caylin Jackson Club West 14-Silver, MacKenna Wenzl, Rancho 13-1, Katie O'Brien, Club Blaze, Andie Olson, Club West 13-Gold. Your hard work has paid off girls!!

Introducing our Blue football team!

Western Christian's first-ever Blue football team is having a great season! Coaches Tony Martinez and Cory Cobb have done a tremendous job training this young squad in the fundamentals of football, as well as the qualities necessary to take their game to the next level. Hard work, fair play, toughness, and love of God are just a few of the attributes being instilled in our boys. Thanks so much Tony and Cory!

Lady Lancers Rock at Club West!

Our Lady Lancer volleyball teams did a fantastic job at the Club West tournament on Oct. 4. Lancer Blue took first place, beating Calvary Baptist in the final. Our Blue athletes came together on Sat., serving well, and playing scrappy defense. Coaches Martina Beaton and Charlene Jackson were so proud of their team, and ecstatic to reap the rewards of hard work. Our Gold team played outstanding volleyball the entire day, losing in the championship game (24-26,28-26,11-15) to an excellent Christ Lutheran team. Barbara Smith, Ariana Holmes, and Grace Gaskins received all-tournament honors. Hanna Sanchez passed nails the entire tournament, and Sasha Hourany ran the 5-1 beautifully. Hannah Thomas came alive in the front row, getting many block touches. Our underclassman tore it up, playing like veterans!

Lady Lancers Volleyball Wins Sonrise Christian Tournament

The Western Christian Lady Lancer Gold Volleyball team won the Sonrise Christian tournament, going undefeated. The Lancers are coming together nicely despite returning only two starters from last year's championship team. Team captains Babs Smith and Hannah Sanchez provided great leadership, and the entire team played very well. Newcomer Grace Gaskins was the tournament MVP, having many great serving runs and tremendous defense. Congratulations girls!!
